Marco Braccioli, DigitalPlatforms Vice President Defense and Cybersecurity, Co Director Cybersec of the ICSA Foundation and Member of the Technical Committee of the Afcea Rome Chapter, after the evaluation of the AFCEA International Awards Committee was among the winners of the “Meritorious Service Award” 2021 of Afcea International, the award that is given annually to a very small group of experts worldwide.
The Award rewards the technological support given for documents, articles, Seminars and Webinars on Cyber Security and Hybrid Warfare.
The awards ceremony, which was to be held in Baltimore (USA) last October 26, 2021 within the AFCEA TECHNET CYBER, was postponed, for the International awards, for the difficulty of traveling to the US due to the pandemic. The award was given yesterday by General Antonio Tangorra, President of Afcea Roma Chapter and President of Afcea International Mediterranean Region, to Dr. Braccioli.
Afcea (Association for Telecommunications and Military Electronics) is an association founded in 1946 of experts interested in the military applications of the main electronic technologies, divided into Chapters whose main purpose is the networking between its members, military bodies and the ‘Industry. Afcea is made up of 35,000 individual members, 2,000 associated companies 155 Chapters in 34 countries.
